Tough weekend at Oulton Park.
First of all I would like to say sorry to the team for not getting the results we wanted. Thanks to everyone involved in getting me back on track after my two crashes, especially Sam Holme, Adam Hartgrove and Louis Valleley.
FP1, not a lot we can say about that one as we diddn't complete many laps. However I knew the feeling in the bike was not right.
FP2, P8. In wet/drying conditions we managed to put a few decent laps in. However with the differing conditions we still didn't have a dry setup.
Qualifying - or not Qualifying 🤔😬 on my first flying lap, I was on for pole at the time. Then, I made a mistake coming out of lodge and highsided on the change of tarmac so would start last on the grid for the race, P26.
Race one, starting from P26 was never going to be easy. I got pushed out wide on the first lap, got stuck in a pack and didn't get towed along with the pack in front so I decided I would drop back a little and try and improve my laptime for the race two grid.
Race two, we started 18th on the grid was in the fight for 14th. I was having problems with my gear changes which was making me less confident on the brakes. I got dropped back to 17th and brought the bike home.
All focus now on Donington in a few weeks time.
